Purpose

Our aim is to develop effective communicators that can share their thoughts and ideas with a global audience, all while holding pride for Yamagata Prefecture.

In order to further spur the growth of Yamagata's already established industries and to spur future strides towards the internationalization of Yamagata itself, we will invite internationally-minded students with exceptional promise, as well as highly-skilled individuals, to Yamagata Prefecture. Through this event, our goal is to create opportunities for both domestic Japanese and foreign business owners, as well as local young people, to discuss global common issues such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and to have meaningful exchanges with one another. Our hope is that this open dialogue, when paired with the chance to experience Yamagata's unique food culture and unrivaled pristine nature, will foster a path for Yamagata to become an attractive place to live for both local young people and foreigners alike.

Our aim is to develop effective communicators that can share their thoughts and ideas with a global audience, all while holding pride for Yamagata Prefecture.
